39TH ANNUAL GRAPEFEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED – INCLUDING THE WINNER OF THE TRIP-OF-A-LIFETIME TO BAROSSA, AUSTRALIA
The four-day festival took place September 11, 12, 13 and 14, 2025

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (October 2, 2025) – The 39th Annual GrapeFest – A Texas Wine Experience presented by Bank of the West was a huge hit this year and the competitions were hot!

The winner of a six-night getaway to Barossa & Adelaide, South Australia compliments of Qantas Airways and Barossa is Kassadi Phillips from Grapevine. She and her husband love to travel and they are thrilled for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Team Juice Mamas crushed the competition in the GrapeStomp Grand Champion StompOff with 33.8 fluid ounces of juice! Cindy Matthews and Jennifer DeWolfe from Luling, Texas were thrilled with winning the coveted Purple Foot Award.  

Tommy Johnson from Pilot Point, Texas was the Grand Champion of the Champagne Cork Shoot-Off and won the all-new trophy!

More than 500 participants took part in the 39th Annual GrapeFest Tennis and Pickleball Classic. They came from across the country and as far away as Hungary, Chile, Australia and France. The winner of the Open Singles Tennis Tournament was Matthis Ross from Upper Cumberworth, United Kingdom. Ross and Savan Chhabra from Irving, Texas together won the Open Doubles competition. The winner of the Pickleball Open Singles tournament was Travis Ignash from McKinney, Texas. Ignash also won Open Doubles with his partner Blake Beshirs from Paris, Texas.

International winemakers from Barossa, South Australia and Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada were on hand to introduce guests to their wines in the Liberty Park Plaza International Wine Experience sponsored by Gaylord Texan Resort.

There were two Barossa Master Classes and Premium Wine Tastings. GrapeFest Co-Chair Lisa Pacioni also hosted two new classes this year – Around the World in 80 Minutes with Rieslings and a Summer Wine Spritzer event.

The 40th Annual GrapeFest – A Texas Wine Experience will be September 17, 18, 19 & 20, 2025.
